Rainbow

8 May

Hey there. Welcome back.

Today is a big day. Yes indeedy. Today is a big day because today I am confused.

Hooray! I hear you say. I can tell you’re literally hopping with excitement over this new development.

No, really, today I am going to ask a series of questions. I woke up feeling a little not-informed. About a few things. This is hard to explain, but I’m not really sure what I’m confused about. I think I might have had a dream that I don’t remember, and then I woke up and the questioning feeling stayed with me but not the actual question that was in the dream. Or something.

So, in light of me not knowing what the question is but still requiring an answer, I’m going to make up some questions and you should answer some of them as best you can in the comments. If an answer satisfies me then I’m pretty positive my confusion will dissapate. Please? For my sanity. You love me, don’t you? For sure you do.

So, here we go:

  1. How many roads must a man walk down?
  2. Where is he going?
  3. Why isn’t he a woman?
  4. What happened to my watch?
  5. Why don’t I have enough t-shirts but still too many?
  6. Who are Mother Nature’s children?
  7. Do they have a father?
  8. Does Mother Nature get a Mother’s Day present?
  9. Why is KFC adverstising a Mother’s Day gift meal?
  10. Who are my friends?
  11. What is intimate about a kiss?
  12. How do you measure personality?
  13. Why can”t I fly?
  14. Can you own a rainbow?
  15. Where is the Bermuda Triangle?
  16. When can I see Avatar?
  17. Does love really trump hate?
  18. Will Mario ever die (that creepy old man is immortal)?
  19. How deeply can you pick your nose?
  20. What do I want to be when I grow up?

I think 20 questions are enough for you guys to deal with. Please answer a few! I need answers.

Live long and prosper (unless you’re Mario – geez, stop hitting on Princess Peach, she’s too young for you) -

How many roads must a man walk down? 8

Where is he going? to Aldi to pick up one or more of the following: overhead projector, zimmerframe, collapsible rainwater tank, fiddle, Moroccan flavouring, capsicums.

Why isn’t he a woman? because he can’t borrow my glasses, and my glasses are girly.

    What happened to my watch?
“Even a stopped watch tells the right time twice a day” – Withnail & I

Why don’t I have enough t-shirts but still too many? Grow another head then re-visit the question.

Who are Mother Nature’s children? One son. Go to Beatles’ White Album, 1968. Also covered by Harry Nilsson about a year later.

Do they have a father? According to Harry Nilsson’s song “1921″, his grandfather AND his father both buggered off to join the circus, leaving the family to fend for themselves. Or maybe it was his father and him. Anyway, be afraid should the circus ever come to town, but only if you have a beard.

Does Mother Nature get a Mother’s Day present? pack of fags

Why is KFC adverstising a Mother’s Day gift meal? Kurdish Football Club? Not sure, but I guess Kurdish football players have mothers too.

Who are my friends? the north, south, east and west winds. that’s four friends, so be happy and shut up.

What is intimate about a kiss? the lead-up

How do you measure personality? with a big stick

    Why can”t I fly? lazy

Can you own a rainbow? Me personally? No. I have no room in the house and no back yard.

Where is the Bermuda Triangle? Istanbul

When can I see Avatar? Just imagine you’ve seen it then you won’t need to.

Does love really trump hate? only in cheesy American films and never in gritty English dramas. Seen “The Street” recently? Yikes.

Will Mario ever die (that creepy old man is immortal)? yes

How deeply can you pick your nose? If I could pick my nose it would be smaller and not so porous.

What do I want to be when I grow up? A kid

    16. you can still see it at greater union/event cinemas. they’re screening it for the last time in 3D for $12 only! as for times, it depends on which cinema you go to, but they’re mostly in the arvo. or maybe you can just scratch all that and rent/buy it on dvd and watch it tonight.
    17. nup. love and hate can’t live without one another. you can’t love something unless you have a standard for what you consider hate, and vice versa.
    18. according to this: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Does_Mario_Die he does. :D
    19. probably deeper than i think i can, but i’m not game enough to try. xD
